Mark Berman, M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. Berman practices cosmetic surgery in the West Los Angeles area and is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Although he graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), he is currently a clinical instructor in facial plastic surgery at the University of Southern California. Dr. Berman is well known for his work with fat grafting, particularly to restore the three-dimensional volume of the aging face. He is also the first surgeon to use Gore-Tex materials in cosmetic surgery, not only pioneering their use in facial surgery, but he also holds a patent on an e-PTFE breast implant device – the Pocket Protector® – used to repair or prevent capsule contracture in breast augmentation. Dr. Berman has authored a novel titled Substance of Abuse which is a controversial sexy thriller that suggests a solution to the war on drugs.
 
Angelo Cuzalina, M.D., D.D.S.
Dr. Cuzalina was elected as the president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery for 2011. He began his post-graduate education at Oklahoma State University (Stilwater, Okla.), graduating with a degree in physiology and went on to obtain a medical degree from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and a dental degree from Baylor University (Waco, Texas). Dr. Cuzalina completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency followed by a full body cosmetic surgery fellowship where his mentors were former presidents of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and he is board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been in private practice, exclusive to cosmetic surgery, in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1998 where he runs an AAAHC accredited surgery center with full time anesthesia and nursing staff along with overnight courtesy guest suites. Dr. Cuzalina hosts and is program chairman for several AACS and ACCME accredited live cosmetic surgery workshops every year and is the chairman and program director for an AACS Accredited Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Program in full body and facial cosmetic surgery. As an author, Dr. Cuzalina has written key articles and book chapters in major medical publications on a variety of cosmetic surgery topics to include facial, breast and body procedures. He is routinely asked to lecture across the US and internationally and has given well over 100 lectures across the globe relating to cosmetic surgery topics.
 
Jason Emer, M.D.
Dr. Emer is a board certified and fellowship-trained general, cosmetic and procedural dermatologist. After completing a preliminary medicine internship at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Ill., Dr. Emer completed a two-year dermatopharmacology fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, N.Y. Dr. Emer's work enabled many medications and devices to become FDA approved for cosmetic indications. Throughout his residency training he focused the majority of his cosmetic interests in the areas of body contouring, liposuction, and fat harvesting and transfer, learning from world renowned experts. After completion of his dermatology residency, Dr. Emer received advanced training with cosmetic pioneers in the area of facial fillers, peels, laser and light treatments, skin cancer surgery and plastic surgery. Dr. Emer continues to run numerous clinical trials on investigational new treatments and has written book chapters on the treatment of psoriasis, complications of aesthetic procedures and techniques and guidelines for facial contouring with soft-tissue fillers. He is featured in Allure magazine as a beauty product expert and has appeared in the media as a beauty guru for his expertise in skincare and body contouring.
 
Michael H. Gold, M.D.
Dr. Gold is the founder of Gold Skin Care Center, Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa, The Laser and Rejuvenation Center and Tennessee Clinical Research Center located in Nashville, Tenn. He is clinical assistant professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and School of Nursing (Nashville, Tenn.), visiting professor of dermatology for Huashan Hospital, Fudan University (Shanghai, China 11/2006) and visiting professor of dermatology at No. One Hospital of China Medical University (Shenyang, China 11/2008). Dr. Gold is a board certified dermatologist / dermasurgeon who oversees the various facets of the Center’s operations, a combination of medical and surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic services and research endeavors. He is a member of various editorial boards, works as an associate editor with the majority of dermatology journals and is the author of over 300 published scientific articles, fifteen textbook chapters and editor of two textbooks on Photodynamic Therapy and Global PDT. Dr. Gold is an active member of many of the leading dermatology and laser specialty societies and is the president of the Tennessee Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and treasurer of the American Society of Photodynamic Therapy.
 
Peral Grimes, M.D.
Pearl Grimes, M.D.
Dr. Grimes is the Director of the Vitiligo and Pigmentation Institute of Southern California, and a leading international authority on vitiligo and pigmentary disorders. Her comprehensive and compassionate approach in treating these disorders has resulted in patients travelling from around the world for her expertise. As a clinician, researcher, and sought-after speaker, Dr. Grimes lectures globally on disorders of pigmentation, as well as cosmetic procedures, including fillers, chemical peeling and microdermabrasion. She is a member of The American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Dermatological Association, Society of Investigative Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation, International Pigment Cell Society and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
 
J. David Holcomb, M.D.
Dr. Holcomb is a double board certified facial plastic surgeon, past president of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic Surgeons and current president of the Sarasota County Medical Society. He completed his residency training at the University of Iowa's Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (Iowa City, Iowa), which is consistently rated among the best in the country by U.S. News and World Report. Dr. Holcomb subsequently completed a fellowship in advanced cosmetic facial plastic surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (Alexandria, Va.).
 
Corey S. Maas, M.D.
Dr. Maas, a cosmetic surgeon in San Francisco, Calif., is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. After earning his medical degree from the University of Florida, College of Medicine, Dr Maas served a general surgery internship and completed a head and neck surgery residency at the St. Louis University College of Medicine. He completed his specialty training with a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at University of California, San Francisco. His academic and clinical achievements earned him a full-time faculty appointment there, serving as chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for more than 11 years. During the last 25 years, Dr Maas has dedicated himself to helping advance the field of facial plastic surgery through clinical research, receiving honors and awards for his endeavors, including the prestigious Sir Harold Delf Gillies Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has published more than 100 book chapters and articles and is regularly recruited to lecture to medical societies, both nationally and internationally.

Joseph Niamtu, III, D.M.D.
Dr. Niamtu is well known in international cosmetic facial surgery circles as a surgeon, teacher and author and is regarded as a key opinion leader by academics and clinicians worldwide. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and his practice is limited to cosmetic facial surgery. Dr. Niamtu lectures internationally on cosmetic facial surgery and has taught on six continents around the world. He has written four textbooks, 22 chapters in other textbooks, hundreds of publications on various cosmetic facial topics and a cosmetic facial surgery DVD series. Dr. Niamtu has served on the board of directors of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation and chaired numerous committees with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, where he currently sits as Chair of the Communications Committee. He appears regularly in newspaper articles, television broadcasts and popular magazines, was voted "Best Plastic Surgeon to Take You Back 20 Years" by Richmond Magazine in 2010 and has received numerous "Best Speaker" awards at numerous multispecialty meetings.
 
Andrew P. Ordon, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Ordon is a host of the Emmy award-winning talk show THE Doctors. Dr. Ordon is an acclaimed aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with private practices in New York City, N.Y., Beverly Hills and Rancho Mirage, Calif. Dr. Ordon is currently an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at Dartmouth Medical College and the UCLA School of Medicine. He is a Diplomate with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Ordon has been featured on many television shows including 20/20, Entertainment Tonight, NBC News and ABC News among others. Dr. Ordon is the author of Revealing the New You, A Guide to Plastic Surgery and Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Plastic Surgery. He also contributed to the textbook: Facial Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ordon is a founding member of the Surgical Friends Foundation, a group of physicians offering complimentary reconstructive surgery to those who otherwise could not afford it. Many of these patients have suffered from birth defects, physical abuse and burns among other adverse conditions.
 
Jorge A. Perez, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Perez is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. He has served as chief of plastic surgery at North Ridge Medical Center (Oakland Park, Fla.) and Imperial Point Medical Center (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.). Dr. Perez graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (New York, N.Y.) and completed residency training in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Montefiore Hospital. He was invited to stay as a member of the faculty and was privileged to assist in the training of other plastic surgeons and medical students. Dr. Perez has been selected repeatedly among Castle Connolly/U.S. News and World Report's listing of America's Top Doctors. He has been featured as an expert in plastic surgery on ABC, NBC, CBS, Univision and Telemundo.
 
Leif Rogers, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Rogers obtained his medical degree at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed three years of general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, as well as a two year research fellowship focusing on tissue engineering at Columbia and Carnegie Mellon Universities. This was followed by two years of plastic and reconstructive surgical training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he became proficient in advanced microsurgical and reconstructive techniques. Dr. Rogers is certified in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is thoroughly trained in reconstructive techniques for much of the human body. Today, Dr. Rogers has a combined reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery practice in Beverly Hills, Calif. where he devotes half of his practice to microvascular breast reconstruction, while also offering the latest techniques in facial rejuvenation and body contouring. Dr. Rogers has also appeared on CBS’s The Doctors, Dr. Phil’s Dr. Oz Show.
 
E. Victor Ross, M.D.
Dr. Ross is the director of the Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology Center at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, Calif. He serves as associate editor of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine and as a board member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Ross attended Mississippi State University (Mississippi State, Miss.) where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in physics. He obtained his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine (New Orleans, La.) where he was a junior year inductee into Alpha Omega Alpha. In 1992 he completed a three-year dermatology residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. In 1994 he was the first Navy-sponsored fellow in Photomedicine and Lasers at Massachusetts General Hospital. His special interests are laser skin resurfacing, fractional laser applications, photodynamic therapy, non-ablative skin remodeling, laser treatment of leg veins, laser treatment of acne and laser hair reduction in darker skin types. He is the author of over 75 articles and seven book chapters.
 
William Philip Werschler, M.D., F.A.A.D., F.A.A.C.S.
Dr. Werschler is an assistant clinical professor of medicine/ dermatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Wash., a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Werschler is an internationally recognized expert in BOTOX® and dermal filler injection techniques and has a private practice in medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology.
